Day 6 Little Rock

Drove into Little Rock this morning and visited the Clinton Presidential Library.  My bucket list includes as many presidential libraries as possible.  I don't think Carole will tolerate too many but this was a good one.  It was a stormy day here so it was good to get there.  We had a fine lunch in a mock presidential dining room and then toured the library.  I am continually impressed at how audio visual and multi media techniques make history come alive.  The Clinton library had plenty of them.

We drove from Little Rock to Hot Springs NP.  I always look forward to NPs as first class experiences.  We drove into this campground and left immediately - almost on the road with lots of traffic and campsites on top of one another.  We drove slightly farther to a great Arkansas state park - Lake Catherine.  We've a site right on the lake.  Very nice.  We are off to see what the NP has to offer today.

[Carole} My only complaint about this campsite - there are about a dozen aggressive Canada Geese who seem to think this is THEIR site. I had one chase me and hiss at me when I tried to shoo him away from my dinner last night!! And they even honked at one another throughout the night. Don't geese sleep????
