I took this picture while hiding inside the Aliner last evening.
It may look calm - but the winds were fierce and I felt like Aliner might get airborne!
We re-attached the Aliner to the car just in case :)
I am loving your road trip blog! Great pictures to go along with it. How far will you go? Close to Alaska or the Northwest? I hope the A-liner back up process is coming along well. We found hand signals best so we don't shout at one another (polite hand signals).
Amarillo by morning.....Looking at your current trajectory you could check out Santa Fe NM, if you do and need a laundry night the El Rey motel is a neat place. If you stay north, Canyon de Chelly (de-shay) AZ is worth a look, we had the Canyon to ourselves one morning, then two days later shared the Grand Canyon with about a half million folks.

Wow! Reminds me of camping in Acadia in Sept. I was sure we were going to be blow into the ocean if the acorns didn't kill us first.

Kathy & Carole, eMail Aliner Adventures & blog both working.
Your adventures seem interesting & fun. Be careful of the roads & wind while traveling.
